Recent events and development in Afghanistan

GLobSec COnference

NATO PDD has co-sponsored an international conference GLobSec /08: A Message for Broader Cooperation organized by the Slovak Atlantic Commission and Euro-Atlantic Center taking place on 17th January 2008 in Bratislava, Slovak Republic. In the background of the past and current missions of NATO in the Balkans and in Afghanistan, the conference aimed to examine the effectiveness of broader international cooperation. The 3th year of Slovakia's most prestigious security conference was held under the auspices of the Slovak Foreign Minister, H.E. Jan Kubis and was attended by NATO Deputy Secretary General, Amb. Claudio Bisogniero, Mr. Antonio Maria Costa, Executive Director of the UN Office on Drugs and Crime and over a dozen of international security experts and analysts. The video highlights the main moments of the conference and features interviews with some of the key conference guests.
