POSITION TITLE: Vice President, Management Information Systems/Chief Information Officer
DEPARTMENT: Management Information Systems
STATUS: Regular/Full-time
SUPERVISOR: Sr. Vice President, Broadcasting Operations & Engineering
SALARY: OPEN

QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree with 10-15 years experience in information systems management or a combination of both education and experience. Graduate degree strongly preferred. Must have experience in leading the systems management effort within a fast-paced, service-oriented environment. Must have proven ability to enhance business operations and product and services development. Must have management skills with the ability to motivate and manage a staff, as well as broad-based strategic abilities. The candidate is expected to be knowledgeable of new technologies and issues facing the broadcast industry including, but not limited to, the World Wide Web, digital TV and compression technology. Candidate must be creative and have the ability to innovatively implement system resources and new technologies. Must also have excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to lead productive working relationships.
