PBS YOU is a 24-hour-a-day, seven-day-a-week program service
offering viewers the best formal and informal education programming
on television-- including adult learning, foreign language instruction,
How-To, and educational documentaries.
PBS YOU is dedicated to those Americans who see education and
self-improvement as an ongoing process that continues from cradle
to grave. As a viewer, you have the option of becoming as involved
in the educational content as you wish -- you can simply watch the
programs for entertainment and self enrichment, you can self-teach
without formal interface, or for many of the series, you may enroll
and obtain college credit through a variety of options made
available through the Web. Such enrollment can lead to college
degrees from the more than 1,000 colleges that offer PBS
telecourses.
