The Magic School Bus began its fourth season on PBS in the fall of 1997 with 13 new episodes. In addition to the new episodes, PBS member stations are able to rebroadcast the 39 program library of shows
through September, 1998. At that time, shortened versions of the complete 52 episode library of The Magic School Bus will move to the Fox Network. No new episodes of The Magic School Bus are planned.
PBS is proud to have pioneered the first television program which brought science to life through animation. The Magic School Bus has become the most-used television program in American classrooms and
PBS will continue to provide free educational access to the series through the fall of 1999.
