American Experience Podcast RSS Feed
What is RSS?
RSS stands for Really Simple Syndication. It allows you to subscribe to any Web site that provides RSS feeds, and get the latest information or content from that site automatically delivered to your computer.
To get RSS feeds you need an aggregator, software that acts like a personal mailbox. It can be a stand-alone news reader, a Web browser extension, or another type of service. The aggregator collects and presents the latest news from the Web sites you select, usually delivering a headline, a short summary, and a link to the full text or feature on line.

What is Podcasting?
Podcasting is the delivery of audio content via the Internet. The name combines the words "iPod" and "broadcasting." Podcasts can be downloaded and played on your computer, transferred to a portable MP3 player (like an iPod), or even burned to a CD -- so you can listen to the audio content wherever you want.
To get a podcast, you must first download free podcasting software, then subscribe to an RSS feed that will deliver the audio content. Once you subscribe, your computer will automatically download new podcast files for you whenever they are available.
To get American Experience stories to go, subscribe to the American Experience RSS Feed. Then, follow the instructions for your particular podcasting software to add the American Experience podcast to your list of subscriptions.
