Distinguished Achievement in Journalism Award - FRONTLINE (1995)

No television news operation has covered the Middle East in this troubled year with as much timeliness or wisdom as FrontlineŠ.[it] has consistently made liars out of those who say television offers neither enterprise nor context when it comes to international stories.
Frontline will never command as many viewers as Frasier and Home Improvement. But Secret Daughter is exceptional. It cuts through the glossiness and silliness of television to say something profound. How often does a TV show do that?
Frontline continues to be the most valuable source of news analysis on TV today. Tonight's report, The Saudi Time Bomb? brings much needed clarity to a global issue so cloudy that it's currently raining fear and confusion on us all.
Šthis weekly PBS series continues to crank out intelligent, probing hours that illuminate issues and rattle cages.
Šone of the most thoughtful, gripping and literate examinations of race relations in the United States ever presented on television.
