    NATIONAL

    Feedback from ongoing contact with the community.

    Increased participation of official-language minority women in the decision-making process.

    Requests for information on the Policy Research Fund from official-language minority organizations.

    A survey of SWC’s newsletter readers is currently under way. One of the questions involves identification of official language preferences. An evaluation of survey responses will be ready in December, 1997.

    Systematic internal mechanisms to control the quality of official languages translation and regular contact with key clients.

    REGIONAL
    BC/YUKON
    Level of participation by francophone women in both the women’s and francophone minority rights movements in British Columbia and the Yukon.

    Level of access by francophone community organizations to SWC and other federal and provincial government resources and programming.

    Assessment of the extent to which objectives have been met on a project by project basis.

    Feedback received on an ongoing basis from the region’s francophone minority community.

    PRAIRIES/NWT
    Feedback from community.

    ONTARIO
    Success will be determined through ongoing communication with community organizations.
    QUÉBEC
    Comments made by Quebec anglophone women’s organizations during the SWC consultation continue to be taken into consideration.

    The number of requests for information and services continue to be recorded. The level of participation of anglophone women in activities funded by the Women’s Program continues to be measured.

    ATLANTIC
    Nova Scotia: Evaluation will be done in collaboration with the Official Language Officer and a summary of the report on progress made will be drafted.

    P.E.I.: Feedback from community organizations and francophone women.

    Newfoundland: Feedback from community organizations and francophone women.

    New Brunswick: Follow-up will be undertaken in accordance with current Women’s Program criteria and requirements. Meetings with the co-ordination committee (table de concertation) are planned.

  • Portions of Grants & Contribution budget of the Women’s Program and of the Policy Research Fund for projects which address the concerns of official minority women,
