Universal comes top at Music Week Awards

The annual Music Week Awards, which honours the best in the business, took place last night at London's Grovesnor hotel and Universal came up trumps in the top honours. Universal Music UK was named record company of the year at the end of a show which saw its executives pick up awards for best PR campaign (Sundraj Sreenivasan of Polydor for Scissor Sisters) , best catalogue marketing campaign (Daryl Easlea and Silvia Montello of Universal Music for The Summer of Motown ) and concept marketing campaign (Karen Meekings & Eddie Ruffett of UMTV for Pop Party 2).
