The Theta 2 Tauri Campaign of
1983 (DSN 1)
At the first campaign of the
DSN photoelectric observations of the bright Delta Scuti star Theta 2 Tauri
(V = 3.4 mag, A7 III) were obtained with V and y filters in the time period
1982 December, to 1984 February.
The following observatories located on 3 continents were used :
- 0.6 meter reflector of Xinglong Station of
Beijing Observatory, China (observers Jiang Shi-yang and Guo Zi-he)
- 0.9 meter telescope of McDonald Observatory,
Texas, USA (Huang Lin)
- 1.02 meter telescope at Merate Observatory,
Italy (Antonello, Mantegazza)
