Account Executive

Responsible for developing advertising opportunities and cultivating and managing advertisers for online Web site. Will work closely with the online national sales manager and USA TODAY sales staff to develop sales presentations for clients, write proposals and extend the sale into a long-term relationship. Requires a college degree and 2-4 years experience in marketing or advertising with some advertising sales experience; must understand the competitive Web marketplace and be able to work in a fast-paced environment.

Electronic Desk - News

Individual wanted to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure Internet newsroom. At least three years of journalism experience required. Candidate must have thorough knowledge of journalistic style and grammar and must demonstrate strong reporting, writing, re-writing and copy-editing skills. Job requires sophisticated news judgment for a defined audience and an understanding of news presentation in a constantly changing electronic news environment. Must be comfortable with computers and be able to learn new software easily. Must be flexible, be able to learn new work processes quickly, be able to work fast and to work alone. Bachelor's degree required. Job could require night and weekend hours.

Leads teams in developing new billing and tracking processes; assists in budget preparation; and responsible for all financial reporting. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field; Master's Degree preferred. Minimum four years accounting and financial analysis experience; PC skills with word processing and spreadsheet software applications in a Windows environment. Individual must be flexible and organized to succeed in a fast-paced, continually changing work environment.
