How to find someone's email address at Yale

Yale email addresses are of the form firstname.lastname@yale.edu (e.g. john.smith@yale.edu). Using this format, you should be able to reach anyone with email on campus.

Alternatively, you can search Yale's PHonebook for a person's contact information.

Yale Directory Assistance

In addition to Yale's online PHonebook, phone numbers for Yale faculty, staff and students can be obtained by calling Yale Directory Assistance at (203) 432-4771.

Visiting Yale and Travel directions

Tours of Yale are available year round from the Visitor Information Center at 149 Elm Street, on the New Haven Green. Tours take about an hour and leave at 10.30am and 2.00pm weekdays, 1.30pm only on weekends. Call (203) 432-2300 for further information.

The Undergraduate Admissions office runs separate tours for prospective students and their families. They leave from 38 Hillhouse Avenue at 10.30am, Monday through Friday, from February 1 to May 1 and June 1 to December 1 approximately.
