WorldCat
(the OCLC Online Union Catalog) A database of over 40 million
unique bibliographic records with over 650 million location symbols of libraries
throughout the world that hold these materials.
OCLC Access Suite.
A single CD-ROM that contains the following five programs:
OCLC Passport for Windows
software. Provides convenient access to the OCLC Cataloging and OCLC ILL
services.
OCLC Cataloging Micro Enhancer
for Windows software. Increases your cataloging productivity and reduces
costs by combining batch online searching and processing with offline editing. Offers
access to both WorldCat and the OCLC Authority File.
OCLC ILL Micro Enhancer for Windows
software. Automates routine Interlibrary Loan tasks such as offline entering
and updating Interlibrary Loan requests, printing barcodes or downloaded requests, and
viewing and transferring records to be updated.
OCLC Cataloging Label Program.
Allows you to process labels from a label file created with OCLC software, such as
Passport for Windows or the OCLC PromptCat service.
OCLC CJK software. A
range of services for libraries with collections of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean
materials, including access to WorldCat, shared online CJK cataloging, and customized
retrospective conversion.
Note: Libraries wishing to use OCLC for cataloging
materials in Chinese, Japanese, and/or Korean (CJK) languages, or to display bibliographic
information from WorldCat (the OCLC Online Union Catalog) in CJK characters for reference
use, must license OCLC CJK software.
OCLC CJK software supports all roman-alphabet languages and CJK
characters. For instance, libraries may use OCLC CJK to catalog materials or display
information in English, French, German, and/or Spanish languages in addition to
CJK characters. (OCLC CJK does not support the OCLC Interlibrary Loan function.) For

dorm) to more than 80 databases, with holdings information, a variety of full-text
document delivery options, and a choice of pricing structures
- OCLC SiteSearch software. A
comprehensive solution for managing ditributed library information resources in a World
Wide Web environment. It offers tools that integrate electronic resources under one Web
interface, control access to resources, and build text and image databases
locally.
