OCLC Access Suite.  A single CD-ROM that contains the following five programs:

  • OCLC Passport for Windows software. Provides convenient access to the OCLC Cataloging and OCLC ILL services.

  • OCLC Cataloging Micro Enhancer for Windows software. Increases your cataloging productivity and reduces costs by combining batch online searching and processing with offline editing. Offers access to both WorldCat and the OCLC Authority File.

  • OCLC ILL Micro Enhancer for Windows software. Automates routine Interlibrary Loan tasks such as offline entering and updating Interlibrary Loan requests, printing barcodes or downloaded requests, and viewing and transferring records to be updated.

  • OCLC Cataloging Label Program. Allows you to process labels from a label file created with OCLC software, such as Passport for Windows or the OCLC PromptCat service.

  • OCLC CJK software. A range of services for libraries with collections of Chinese, Japanese, and Korean materials, including access to WorldCat, shared online CJK cataloging, and customized retrospective conversion.

  • Note:  Libraries wishing to use OCLC for cataloging materials in Chinese, Japanese, and/or Korean (CJK) languages, or to display bibliographic information from WorldCat (the OCLC Online Union Catalog) in CJK characters for reference use, must license OCLC CJK software.

OCLC CJK software supports all roman-alphabet languages and CJK characters. For instance, libraries may use OCLC CJK to catalog materials or display information in English, French, German, and/or Spanish languages in addition to CJK characters. (OCLC CJK does not support the OCLC Interlibrary Loan function.)  For more information, please contact OCLC Asia Pacific Services.
