Conversation Placement ad specs are the same as the ad specs for a Promoted Post in Feed. These are a few best practice recommendations:
- Headline copy character limit is shorter than the Feed (which is 300 max). Headlines that exceed the character limit will be cut off.
- Mobile & mWeb: 100 characters max
- Desktop: 250 characters max
- Card Image Spec:
- We highly recommend using a 400x300 thumbnail image which renders best in the Convo placement
- If a 400x300 is not available, we will use the standard 1200x628 image, however the resizing of a large image into a compact thumbnail space may impact the creative quality.
- Video assets: While video is supported, they are click-to-play. Video assets will be thumbnail size, and expand and play on click. The Convo placement should not be used if video view rate is a primary success metric.
- NOT supported:
- Cannot be used with Promoted Carousel
- Text only posts. We will show a placeholder image if no image/video post is uploaded.
