There are many things that I just like about this app. For one, because I turned off, the group faces setting in the photos, Google will no longer search for similar faces in regular Google search. Also, when I want to touch up photos and adjust things I only have the colors suggested. I have no way to choose my own colors or adjust the colors that are there. When I want to add text to the picture there is no way to choose a different text, text size, justification, any of that stuff. S11 better

I am extremely frustrated with the repeated updates that continuously disable the audible sound on the assistant, which serves as an indication that it is listening. It is annoying that despite having already checked the settings multiple times, the problem persists. This clearly demonstrates poor programming and it is condescending to be repeatedly advised to check the settings when I have already done so. As a solution, I had to resort to rolling back to the previous version which works and pr

Thanks for your review! We regularly update Google app versions to improve the performance and stability, fix issues and protect devices with the latest security. If you wish, you may disable auto-update in the Play Store settings (3 horizontal lines in the upper left of the screen), tap "Settings" -"Auto-update apps" and select appropriate option.

For the last 7 days, something strange has been happening to me. Whenever I put the earphones on ears and listen to something the phone starts doing weird things because of the commands the Google Assistant is receiving. If Google Assistant hears my breath, it issues commands to the phone, and the phone starts closing apps, playing music, turning up and turning down the volume, setting an alarm, and more.
