You can export and download your data from Currents, including data that hasn't been deleted. You can create an archive to keep for your records or use the data in another service. To learn the process for downloading your data, read Download your Currents data.
If you use a work or school account, some data might not be available for download. If you're a super administrator of your Google domain, you can download or migrate your organization’s data. To learn more, read Export your organization's data.
Your download includes the following:
- Currents stream
- Posts you created, including comments, likes, reshares, and other activity.
- Your activity on posts owned by other users, including comments, likes on posts and comments, and poll votes.
- Collections created by you.
- Tags that you follow.
- Photos you shared in posts and comments.
- Currents circles
- Currents circles data, including first names, last names, nicknames, display names, and profile URLs.
- Currents communities
- Communities that are owned or moderated by you, including community owners, moderators, members, applicants, banned members, and invitees.
- Links to posts shared with the community.
- Community metadata, including picture, settings, content control settings, user role, and community categories.
- For non-domain restricted public communities, additional information for community posts is provided, including author, body, and photos. (Note: these legacy communities can no longer be created).
- Communities that are owned or moderated by you, including community owners, moderators, members, applicants, banned members, and invitees.
