After joining Google One, members can receive benefits redeemable in places like Google Play and the Google Store. Some benefits are only for the Google One member. Other benefits apply to everyone in the Google One member's family group.
Enhanced customer support
All Google One members get direct access to experts for help with Google products and services. Experts can assist you in various languages.
Family-friendly plans
Google One members can share their plan features (storage, benefits, support) with up to 5 family members. Each person gets 15 GB of default storage space, and the rest of the storage is split between everyone in the family group.
About Google One membership plans
Everyone with a Google account starts out with the basic 15-gigabyte plan, which is free. If you get Google One, there are 7 other storage plan options to choose from, depending on your location.
If you change your storage limit, it can take up to 24 hours for the changes to apply to your account.

Set up a Google One account
With a Google One subscription, you can buy more storage for Google Drive, Gmail, and Google Photos, and you'll receive additional benefits. You can also share your membership with your family.
Step 1 (Optional): Create a Google account
To get a Google One membership, you need to be signed in with your personal Google account. If you don't have one yet, you need to make an account.

Step 2: Start using Google One
All Google accounts get up to 15GB of storage for free. If you want more storage, access to Google experts, special benefits, and other Google One features, you need to upgrade to another plan.
- On your computer, make sure you signed into your Google account.
- In a browser, go to one.google.com.
- At the top, click Upgrade.
- Choose your new storage limit.
- Review the new plan pricing and payment date, then click Continue.
- To confirm your Google One plan, select your payment method and click Subscribe.
Whenever you want to use Google One, on your computer, visit one.google.com. If you like, you can also download the Google One app for your devices.
