Google TV Android App Updates
We're excited to announce that we’ll be rolling out an update to the Google TV Android app in the US starting this week! With this update we are bringing you cinematic and helpful updates to the interface, even better recommendations, and more ways to watch.
A fresh and helpful experience
We’ve given the experience a fresh, cinematic look with new 16:9 widescreen movie and show posters. And to make discovery easier, you’ll see Rotten Tomatoes scores posted right under each poster. If you find something you’ve already seen, you can now pop into its details page to mark it as “watched” to get updated recommendations in your For you tab in its place.

More recommendations
You’ll now see more rows of personalized recommendations to browse for your next movie or show. We’ve made improvements to our recommendation system to help you find something that fits your interests from “Sci-fi thrillers” to “What to watch if you crave a summer blockbuster”.
More ways to watch
To help fuel your recommendations, we’re adding support for even more streaming services, bringing you more of what you like to watch. You’ll be able to check out movies and shows from Discovery+, and Viki, find entertainment for the family from Cartoon Network, PBS kids, and Boomerang, and tune-in to on demand content from live TV providers like YouTube TV, Philo, and fuboTV. Click on your account icon to add your services in the “Manage Services” menu.

With this update your other favorite features, like Watchlist, aren’t going anywhere. And all your previously purchased movies and shows can still be found in your Library tab. We hope you enjoy the new experience.
