Get suggestions to start a conversation with someone
You might get a suggestion to start a conversation with contacts that you’ve interacted with before on Google Photos.
- On your computer, open photos.google.com.
- At the top left, click Sharing
. Any suggestions to share with an individual or group will appear with “Suggested” next to their name.
- Click
to choose photos to share.
Delete suggested conversations
- On your computer, open https://photos.google.com.
- At the top left, click Sharing
.
- Click on the suggested conversation.
- Click on the person’s name at the top.
- Click Delete suggested conversation.
Find suggestions to add photos to a shared album
If you receive a shared album, you may see suggestions to add photos to that album based on information like time the photos were taken, location, or faces in the photos. You’ll only see suggestions based on faces if you have face grouping enabled. To see suggestions to add to a shared album:
- On your computer, open photos.google.com.
- At the top left, click Sharing
. Shared albums with suggestions to add will appear with Add related photos? below the title of the album.
- Click on the album.
- Click Review to review and add the suggested items or click No thanks to dismiss the suggestion.
Find skipped suggestions and delete or review them
If you delete a skipped suggestion, you’ll remove all info about it, including whether you’ve skipped it before. You may see a similar card later.
- On your computer, open photos.google.com.
- At the top, click Settings
.
- Under Suggestions, click Skipped suggestions.
- Click Review or Delete.
Turn off notifications
When you take new photos, you may get a notification to share these photos.
- On your computer, open photos.google.com.
- At the top left, click Sharing
.
- Under Sharing, turn off sharing suggestion notifications.
