You can get trip info, like your upcoming trips, reservations, and research, on google.com/travel. google.com/travel organizes confirmed reservations sent to your Gmail and any travel-related activity, such as:
- Reservations for airlines, hotels, vacation rentals, car rentals, restaurants, and train or bus travel
- Travel research for upcoming trips
- Suggestions for trip destinations
- Information from past trips
- Recent trip activity
Set up your Google Account for Travel
To find your trip reservations and travel research on google.com/travel, make sure the following settings are turned on:
- Smart features and personalization in other Google products in Gmail: Get your trip information on google.com/travel, based on confirmation emails sent to your Gmail. Go to Gmail settings.
- Private results in Google Search: This setting displays search results based on reservations you already made that only you can find. Go to Google Search settings.
- Web & app activity in your Google Account: This setting lets you customize your experience across all Google products. Google saves your searches and website visits on devices that are signed into your Google Account. Go to Google Account settings.
Review your upcoming trips
Important: Private info within your upcoming trips isn’t shared with anyone else.
You can find all your travel info, like upcoming trips and past trips, on google.com/travel. Make sure you’re signed in to the Google Account you used to make your travel plans and reservations.
When you have confirmed reservations for things like flights or hotel bookings, you can find your trip details on google.com/travel. To review important info, like flight departure times and confirmation numbers, click or tap an individual reservation.
Upcoming trips are automatically created based on confirmed reservations sent to your Gmail. If you don’t find your reservation on google.com/travel and your confirmation emails are sent to a non-Gmail account, forward your reservation confirmation emails to your Gmail.
To turn off this feature, in your Gmail settings, turn off “Smart features and personalization in other Google products.”
Edit your trip details
- Make sure you're signed in to the right Google account.
- Go to google.com/travel.
- Scroll to your trip.
- On your trip, click or tap More
.
- To change the name of your trip, destination(s), trip description, or the start and end dates, click or tap Edit trip.
Edit your reservations
Important: Edits made to reservation info on google.com/travel don’t change the actual reservation, nor the content of the email from which the reservation was generated.
- Make sure you’re signed in to the right Google account.
- Go to google.com/travel.
- Scroll to your trip.
- Click or tap the image of your trip.
- Scroll to view your reservations.
- On your reservation, click or tap Edit

- Update any details you want to change, like flight, car, or hotel reservations.
- When you’re done, click or tap Save.
Add notes to your trip
Leave helpful comments in your itinerary or reservation.
Important: Make sure you’re signed in to the right Google account.
To add a note to your itinerary:
- Go to google.com/travel.
- Scroll to your trip.
- Click or tap the image of your trip.
- On the right, click or tap Add to trip.
- On the “Add to trip” pop-up, click or tap Note.
- Add your note and click or tap Save. You can find your notes at the top of your itinerary.
To add a note to your reservation:
- Go to google.com/travel.
- Scroll to your trip.
- Click or tap the image of your trip.
- On the right, click or tap the Down arrow
to expand your reservation.
- Click or tap Add note.
- Add your note and click or tap Save. You can find your notes at the bottom of your reservation.
To edit or delete a note:
- Click or tap the note, then click or tap Edit.
- Click or tap the note, then click or tap Edit

Delete a trip
Important: When you delete a trip on google.com/travel, it doesn’t cancel your reservation.
- Make sure you’re signed in to the right Google account.
- Go to google.com/travel.
- Scroll to your trip.
- On the trip info you want to remove, click or tap More
.
- To remove trip info, click or tap Delete trip.
Confirm you're a traveler on a trip
Receive updates to flight statuses and additional trip notifications when you confirm you're a traveler on a trip. To confirm:
- Make sure you're signed in to the right Google account.
- Go to google.com/travel.
- Scroll through your potential and upcoming trips to find the trip you want to update.
- To confirm you’re a traveler on the trip, under your trip name, turn on:
- “I’m traveling on this trip” for future trips.
- “I traveled on this trip” for past trips.
Share your trip details with someone
- Go to google.com/travel.
- Choose the trip you want to share, then click or tap the Share button.
- To email your itinerary, click or tap Email reservation details.
- Go to google.com/travel.
- Click or tap the trip you want to share, then click or tap the Share button.
- To share your trip page, click or tap Share trip.
- Select the Shared option to create a shareable link.
- Copy the link or click or tap the Share button to send it via email, social media, or other available options.
To turn off trip sharing, click or tap the Share button and set the trip to “Private.” Once a trip is set to “Private,” you can’t access this trip anymore with the previously shared links. When you share a trip after it has been set to “Private,” a brand new link will be generated.
Find trip suggestions
You can plan your trip and find activities at your destination with the help of trip suggestions. Google provides these suggestions based on the destinations and trips associated with the confirmed reservation emails sent to your Gmail.
Your trip suggestions are also based on your travel-related searches and clicks on Google Search.
- Hotels are suggested based on your searches on Google and places you saved from Maps or Search.
- Things to do are suggested based on what you search for or save on Google Maps and Search, or explore on google.com/travel.
Discover potential trips
Potential trips are travel suggestions based on your recent activity, like your searches, saved hotels and things to do, and prices you’re tracking. Suggestions are also based on your activity with other Google products, like Maps and YouTube.

Find past trips
To turn off this feature for automatically created trips based on confirmed reservations sent to your Gmail, in your Gmail settings, turn off “Smart features and personalization in other Google products.”
