You can change your location settings used by the Google App, including Location History and your home and work addresses.
Location History
Location History allows the Google app to show you useful information based on where you’ve been with the devices that you’re signed in to. For example, the Google app uses your past locations to do things like show you traffic updates for your daily commute by learning the route you take to work.
You can turn off Location History for your account at any time. If you use a work or school account, your administrator needs to make this setting available for you. If they do so, you will be able to use Location History as any other user.

On your Android phone or tablet, open your device's Settings app

- At the top, tap Data & personalization.
- Under "Activity controls," tap Location History.
- Change whether your account or your devices can report Location History to Google:

- Only a certain device: Tap Devices on this account, and then turn the device on or off.
If you're on a browser, go to the Activity controls section of your Google Account. You might need to sign in. At the top, turn Location History on or off.
Note: When you turn off Location History, you stop saving new information about where you've been. To remove past locations, you need to delete your Location History. When you delete your Location History, some Google app features won't work.

You can edit or delete your home or work addresses in Google Maps.
If the location of your labeled places was used to help get your search results, the location information at the bottom of the search results page will say Based on your places (Home) or (Work).
