Why can't google answer the question asked? Instead leeds to adds or something irrelevant
1
I've tried searching numerous times and get answers back which i have to scroll through the adds and sponsored site to find the answers are irrelevant anyway. I've tried everything that used to work to use exact phrases but nothing works anymore.
I then went to the forums in search of explanations of why, and all i see is people getting frustrated because they are getting routine answers from a fukin bot no less pfft? The threads I actually read that mention anything against google seem to get locked, Does google really suck now or is it just me?
I think google needs to implement "I'm not a robot" security into it's own systems
The reason I asked for a screenshot in my previous reply is to check whether a user is actually seeing a legitimate Google Search results page. It's usually easy for me to tell from a screenshot whether or not a browser hijacker may have taken over the results page and be injecting spurious content.
While malware/adware is obviously not the source of poor results in all cases (I'm the first one to admit I often find Google Search results unhelpful), it happens more often than users are willing to believe. These recent threads are examples of times when the results page that you see is not actually a legitimate Google Search results page:
If you consistently find Google results unhelpful and full of ads, at least start with an open mind and check out the possibility of adware in your browser or on your device.
If you have confirmed your browser/device is clean, but you still have specific issues with Google Search results, you should send feedback direct to Google. Use the in-app "Send feedback" feature (mobile) or click "Send feedback" at the bottom of any search results page (desktop). This will send the full context of your search to Google for investigation, including a screenshot of the results page.
Google says: "We value every piece of feedback we receive. We cannot respond individually to every one, but we will use your comments as we strive to improve your Google experience."
Post your comments here by all means, but just remember that this is a user community and Google employees don't normally monitor this forum for comments. Far better to send the feedback direct to Google.

It's a bit hard to troubleshoot without specific information.
If you'd like me to investigate, please attach a screenshot of a results page where this is happening (or upload it to an image sharing site and include the link).

You were give all the information there was to give. Just answer their question because a whole lot of us would like to know the answer. Why won't Google answer our questions?? We never get appropriate answers to our questions. For example I'm trying to find ft. Garland Colorado. I asked where ft. Garland Colorado was. Got no map showing me where it was only a street map if ft. Garland. Then I added on a map to me original question. And that didn't give me anything close to what o wanted.
How hard is it to just give us the answer we ask for???

Google has become a massive index of ads and irrelevant "information", asking google for anything other than very basic information is like trying to find useful information in a giant pile of random old magazines in a doctors waiting room. I'm so sick of looking for something and all that comes up is pop culture garbage that could hardly pass as an opinion piece let alone useful information. Just now I was trying to find out how science can know what molecules gasses in space consist of, but I was getting so many irrelevant pages pop up that I decided I didn't care that much. I don't know, but I wouldn't be surprised if Google is taking the route of mass media and trying to keep us uninformed deliberately. All I know is that it didn't used to be like this, in the past just a few years ago I'd get the right answer on page one every time, usually on the first link.
