For starters, I would refer to the User Manual that usually accompanies a new device. The Customer Service number should be in that manual. They should be able to help you.
If you can't locate that manual, Google the make and model and then "User Manual" and you should be able to locate one.

Same happens to me after the "Google" app update on 24 September. Battery drains very fast and phone is all the time warm. The "Google" app drains 50% of my battery in 2h of standby.

Since the last update to the Google app it keeps draining my battery very quickly. I used to get about a day of use, now I get about 4 hours.
Uninstalling the updates for the Google app fixes the issue but unchecking the "enable auto update" does not disable auto updates so I'll have to uninstall the app updates every day.
My device is a OnePlus 5, Android 10, Oxygen OS 10.0.1, build OnePlus A500_23_201029.

Same issue since September 24th update. I used to charge once every day or two, after the update I need to charge 3 times a day. I'm using a OnePlus 5t, Oxygen OS 10.0.1.
I have uninstalled the update and switched off auto-update, but it STILL updates itself every morning, so each morning I have to uninstall the update. A fix can't come soon enough.
I'm wondering if I can disable it and install "google go" instead? (until Google has a fix for this issue)

Yesterday I had to disable the Google app because it started draining battery super fast and heating the phone.
The battery usage was showing over 40% for this app, and it was running in background, without using it (in fact it appears to be broken since I can't use the search even if I want to).
I feel it was consuming around 10% battery per hour.
As soon as I disable the app the battery stabilizes and the phone starts cooling down.

I notice that my OnePlus 5T battery drains out very quickly. The battery utilisation reports points to Google and Google Play Services, even though I'm not using them, as major drainers
The phone also gets extremely hot
I'm attaching the screenshot. The battery report is taken 5-10 mins after full charge, without phone usage
