In an emergency dial 999 or 112 and ask for the Police, then Mountain Rescue.

Be ready to give the following details:

Casualty location (6-figure grid reference is ideal – let us know if this is from a GPS device)
Number of casualties
Possible injuries
Contact telephone number

We will need to contact you at the casualty site so please keep your telephone available to receive calls.
