The first official photo of “In the Heights” actress Leslie Grace as Batgirl has been released.
Grace takes on the role of Barbara Gordon/Batgirl in the HBO Max original feature. The character is both the famed vigilante in Gotham City and the daughter of police commissioner James Gordon (J.K. Simmons).
Brendan Fraser plays the film’s villain while Michael Keaton will reprise his role of Bruce Wayne/Batman in the film.
Jacob Scipio, Rebecca Front, Corey Johnson, and Ethan Kai also star in the film which is helmed by “Bad Boys for Life” directors Adil El Arbi and Bilall Fallah. Filming is currently underway in Glasgow with the movie expected to hit the service late 2022.
