“Moon Knight” Series Trailer On Monday

Moon Knight Series Trailer On Monday

The first trailer for the Disney+ Marvel series “Moon Knight,” starring Oscar Isaac and Ethan Hawke, is set to drop on Monday night during the NFL Super Wild Card matchup on ESPN and ABC.

To promote the trailer release, a brief snippet of footage from the series has been revealed. Confirmation of the show’s launch date is expected with the clip, but reports suggest it is eyeing a March 30th launch.

It marks only the second brief glimpse of footage to date from the series, the other being a few seconds released during Disney+ day back in November. This one shows off the first look at Hawke’s villain and a better glimpse of the outfit.

The series stars Isaac as Marc Spector, a former U.S. Marine with Dissociative Identity Disorder (DID) who becomes a conduit for the Egyptian moon god Khonshu.

Jeremy Slater (“The Exorcist” series) serves as showrunner with direction split between Mohamed Diab and duo Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead. Slater is also developing “Thread,” a film dubbed “Back to The Future meets Aliens” which he will write and direct for Sony Pictures and producer James Wan.

“Moon Knight” is expected to be the first Marvel series for 2022 ahead of “She-Hulk,” “Ms. Marvel” and “Secret Invasion” also hitting the service.
