UI Designers

Usability Analysts

Help us find out about our users! Google is looking for an individual with a strong background in user testing to head up our usability testing efforts. Our Usability Analyst will assume responsibility for all of Google's user studies including scheduling the studies, designing their format, collecting data, and writing follow-up analysis. Responsible for tracking user trends on the site, our usability analyst will also analyze some aspects of our log data. Operations Director

You will be responsible for managing all operational aspects of Google's high volume website running on thousands of servers with hundreds of terabytes of storage. Network Operations Lead/Manager

Senior System Administrators/Network Specialists

To provide the net's best search results, Google operates what is probably the world's largest Linux cluster that puts many supercomputing centers to shame. For example, the current cluster contains 800 TB of disk storage and has an aggregate I/O bandwidth of about 150 GB/sec (that's bytes, not bits).

We are looking for Senior Network and System Administrators with experience in clusters and/or large-scale networks. Help us grow Google to one Googolbyte! We are also looking for System Administrators who can help us run our rapidly growing corporate network.

NT/Desktop Administrator

This position is located in New York.

In this position you will be responsible for installation, configuration, and administration of NT 4.0 Servers, Windows 98 clients, and NT 4.0/2000 Workstations. Sales

Category Sales Manager

Responsibilities include:

The Category Sales Manager's main responsibility is providing consulting services to clients and the Google sales team to maximize individual category revenue opportunities. The position is responsible for attaining specific sell-through percentages and average CPM in specified categories. Also responsible for helping to set CPM thresholds and provide specific account targets for the Regional Account Managers in those categories. The Category Sales Manager is expected to create value added services and knowledge that will help the sales team be more efficient in maximizing revenue from specific categories.

The manager position does not have responsibility of specific accounts and does not carry an account list. Responsible for working in conjunction with the RAMs, Directors, and VP of Sales. Will also carry national responsibility for category targets.

Requirements:

  • Significant prior management experience and/or a track record of extraordinary leadership, team-building, excellent negotiating skills, and interactive advertising/media sales to major accounts and advertising agencies.
  • Traditional media sales or direct marketing experience a plus.

Account Executives

Positions for San Francisco (Mountain View based), Southeast (Atlanta based), and New York (New York based) only.

The Account Executive is responsible for being secondary managers in the defined sales region -- providing a strong level of support for the Regional Account Sales Manager and the revenue opportunities that are delegated. Responsibilities also include reaching the target revenue goals in the defined region. This position is expected to be a professional, reliable, team oriented member of the regional team and the national sales team. Travel is expected as well as building relationships with all possible clients in the defined territory.

The Account Executive position will carry a quota that is defined in the PAF and report to the Regional Account Sales Manager.

Regional Account Sales Managers

Positions available for Northwest (Mountain View based) and Southeast (Atlanta based) only.

The Regional Account Sales Manager is responsible for all sales activity inside the defined sales territory. The primary responsibility is to manage the sales territory to achieve the assigned territory revenue goals as well as being responsible for all Google advertising activity in the region. Senior Licensing Manager

The successful candidate for this position will be responsible for targeting prospects such as ISPs, portals and global 2000 customers. This person's objectives will be to maximize revenue via the sale of Google's search service to all prospective clients within the assigned territory, grow assigned territory rapidly and establish the Google account base throughout territory. This position is located in New York.

The successful candidate will be responsible for partnering with the sales staff in order to facilitate the sales process and streamline information throughout the company. Advertising Operations Coordinator

This individual will be the primary Advertising Operations contact point for East Coast Sales.

Responsibilities include:

Google is seeking a "hands-on" Controller who understands detailed transaction functions within the finance organization. This position will be responsible for managing the implementation, development, and maintenance of financial accounting systems, controls and procedures. The position will be actively involved in the preparation of the budget and forecasts, including cost and pricing analysis. Additionally, the position will be responsible for capital lease line maintenance and reporting, stock administration, and relationship management with banking, legal, tax, and audit professionals.

Senior Benefits and HRIS Analyst

Job Requirements

  • 5-8 years as an HR professional with at least 3 years of benefits and/or HRIS specific experience. Generalist experience a plus.
  • Strong, thorough systems skills and the ability/interest to increase knowledge in this area.

  • Ability to come up with innovative/creative approaches to process/ systems.
