All our events are virtual and pre-recorded this year, so you can watch at your convenience after the ceremonies go live this week (no registration necessary). Graduates: watch for text messages this week with links and more information.

The ceremonies will be available starting at the following dates/times:

🌻 Virtual Commencement Mass: Friday, May 7, 2021 at 4:00 pm.

🎓  Virtual Commencement Ceremony for the Class of 2020: Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 9:00 am

🎓  Virtual Commencement Ceremony for the Class of 2021: Saturday, May 8, 2021 at 9:00 am

Note: The virtual commencement ceremonies for Class of 2020 and Class of 2021 are separate. Each ceremony will have its own Undergraduate and Graduate Student Speakers as well as its own roll call of graduates. Other ceremony components will be essentially the same.

Students will be individually recognized with a personal slide giving their name, degree, program, and if they submitted one – a quote and photo.

This year’s commencement speaker (for both ceremonies) is Mitchell Baker, CEO and Chairwoman of Mozilla. You may know Mozilla as the corporation and foundation behind the Firefox browser – they pioneered the open web.  Mitchell has articulated these values in The Mozilla Manifesto and Pledge for a Healthy Internet, promoting the public benefit aspects of the internet and advocating for the importance of connecting technology to its impact on individuals and society.
