Scorpions Delay Tour Kick Off Due To Injury

The Scorpions were forced to postpone the first three concerts of their Rock Believer European tour this past week due to an injury suffered by guitarist Matthias Jabs.

The band will reveal the rescheduled dates for the three shows, Lisbon, Portugal (May 10th), Toulouse, France (May 13th) and Lille, France (May 15th), at a later date. (read more)

Bring Me The Horizon Plot North American Tour

Bring Me The Horizon have announced that they will be launching a North American headline tour this fall that will feature support from Knocked Loose, grandson, and Siiickbrain.

The band have also announced that they will be taking part in several music festivals during the trek including Louisville's Louder Than Life Festival, Emo Nite New Orleans Vacation, Sacramento's Aftershock Festival and Las Vegas's When We Were Young Festival. (read more)

Eternal Frequency Continue Video Trilogy With A.I.

Eternal Frequency has released a music video for their song "A.I.". The clip is the second installment in the band's Matrix-esque video series that kicked off with "Step Up".

They had this to say about the new video, "Drawing inspiration from cult classic films such as The Matrix, Blade Runner, and The Fifth Element, 'AI' offers a chaotic cinematic viewing experience and a look into the future, creating a high-intensity, action-packed visual." (read more)

Peach Pit Announce U.S. Fall Tour

Indie rockers Peach Pit have announced that they will be hitting the road this fall for a United States tour to promote their new album, "From 2 To 3".

The Right Down The Street Tour and it set to kick off on September 16th in New Haven, CT at Toad's Place and will wrap up on December 15th at Terminal 5 in New York City. (read more)

Sunny Day Real Estate Announce North American Reunion Tour

Sunny Day Real Estate have announced that they will be hitting the road this fall for a North American reunion tour that will feature support from The Appleseed Cast.

The trek marks the first time the band have played together in 12 years and will feature original vocalist/guitarist Jeremy Enigk, guitarist Dan Hoerner and drummer William Goldsmith, along with additional musicians. (read more)

Carrie Underwood Launching Denim & Rhinestones Arena Tour

Carrie Underwood has announced that they she will returning to the road this fall and next spring for the Denim & Rhinestones Tour of the U.S. in support for his forthcoming album of the same name.

Jimmie Allen will be supporting Carrie on the trek that is scheduled to kick off on October 15th in Greenville, SC at the Bon Secours Wellness Arena, with the first leg wrapping up on November 19th in San Francisco, CA at the Chase Center. (read more)

The Rolling Stones Stream Live At The El Mocambo 1977 Album

(hennemusic) The Rolling Stones are streaming audio of their newly-released package, "Live At The El Mocambo 1977." The project presents the first official appearance of the group's two famous secret concerts at the 300-capacity venue in Toronto, ON.

A radio contest was organized in which the prize was tickets to see Canadian rock heroes April Wine at the club, supported by an unknown band called the Cockroaches; as it turned out, April Wine were themselves the opening act as the Stones took the stage. (read more)

James LaBrie Premieres 'Am I Right' Video

Dream Theater's James LaBrie had premiered a music video for his new single "Am I Right", which comes from his forthcoming solo album, "Beautiful Shade Of Grey".

LaBrie had this to say, "The anthemic song of the album with gorgeous chordal picking and progressions. A perfect marriage between melody and music. Extremely dynamic throughout with an epic and glorious ending." (read more)

Heart In The Studio For Little Queen 45th Anniversary

The 45th anniversary of Heart's "Little Queen" album is being celebrated by the syndicated radio show In The Studio With Redbeard: The Stories Behind History's Greatest Rock Bands.

Redbeard had this to say, "'It was like a big, long, exciting drink of life,' Heart lead singer/ lyricist Ann Wilson sums up with considerable satisfaction when recalling the time in May 1977 when she, along with younger guitarist/ songwriting sister Nancy Wilson and Heart delivered Little Queen, and then proceeded to spread the gospel in about two hundred fifty concerts over two continents. You often don't know a stigma exists until your existence crosses through it. I found myself in Massachusetts in the late winter coming to terms with the reality of being a divorced, single working mom. All around me, every day there were reminders that I was somehow "apart" from the normal, whole way of being. All around me there were false ideas being thrown like daggers. Ideas that said I was marred in the pulling apart of my marriage, that I couldn't be a devoted parent and also have a career. Suddenly I was also a threat to the normal way of being. I became a question mark for those who were wondering inside, "Is the normal way really the best way?" Sometimes people don't like questions. (continue)
