Britney Spears launching new 'Domination' Las Vegas residency next year

Show Caption

Fans will soon be able to get another "Piece of" Britney Spears.

The singer, 36, announced Thursday that she's heading back to Sin City for a new residency at the Park Theater at Park MGM, where Lady Gaga and Aerosmith are set to launch residencies of their own, joining the likes of Cher.

"Domination" is set to kick off in February; tickets go on sale Oct. 26.

Spears let the cat out the bag in front of Las Vegas' T-Mobile Arena during a "Spirit Day" parade for GLAAD. (So apparently what happens in Vegas doesn't always stay in Vegas.) Her new residency poster was projected onto the side of the Park MGM, paired with some of her greatest hits, including "Toxic," "...Baby One More Time," "Slave 4 U" and "Circus."

"We are here to welcome the new queen of Vegas," Mario Lopez said while introducing Spears onstage. The singer wore a black, long sleeved turtleneck dress with star cutouts at her hips.

The entire announcement was streamed live on the official YouTube channel for "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," where Spears teased her big news earlier this month.

Spears' new stint will come after her immensely successful "Britney: Piece of Me" Las Vegas residency, which ended December 2017. Her run earned $140 million after four years and 250 ticketed performances.

Last year, she commanded the highest ticket price of any Vegas production show – $855 for VIP treatment. It became one of the most successful Las Vegas residencies of all time, particularly with a much-sought-after younger crowd.

Over the summer, Spears took her "Piece of Me" show from the Vegas strip to more than a dozen cities in North America, Europe and the U.K.
